What Is One Mission Tree, Inc.
Mission Tree began as a grant project of the Compassion Capital Fund (CCF) Demonstration Project (a 3-year initiative, USDHHS, ACF). CCF’s purpose was “to expand and strengthen the role of [small, novice] organizations in their ability to provide social services to low-income communities” through training, subawards, and technical assistance. Service areas of the novice agencies included domestic and partner violence, at-risk youth, prisoners, human trafficking, and families in crisis. https://vawnet.org/material/compassion-capital-fund
One Mission Tree, Inc. (OMTI) formed to sustain the work of the CCF federal grant.
